Well I have been going around and around for a while about getting a remote start for my truck and my wife's truck. I have read numerous threads about Travis and KCAutosound over on F150online. So a couple of weeks ago I decided to give Travis a call and to see what would be a good fit for my needs. Talking with Travis was a pleasure and he answered all of my questions and then some. Well I finally decided on the CA-670 with the ford prewire(excelent option). After I ordered them Travis shipped them the next day.
Now I decided to install mine first to work all the kinks out and I am just glad that Travis was a phone call away when I ran into some install problems(self induced). The install went very smoothly all the way up to the initial program and starting before the PATS module was installed. I noticed that my dome light didnt work when switched on and after the PATS module installed the truck would not start at all. Well after several phone calls with Travis we finally figured out the starting issue which was my fault for using a not recommended wire stripper which pulled the wire out of the PATS ring connector. So after I fixed that the truck worked great. The dome light issue was well put it this way, was a $50 dollar mistake on my part because I didnt pay attention to the colors for the dome light and parking lights. so now that I have a new switch installed the system is working great. I did at one point have trouble with the remote start not keeping the truck running in the tachless mode, after a couple of calls to Travis we decide to run a sense wire to the fuel injectors and that fixed that issue. Later on that night Travis called me to see if everything was ok, now that is customer service. I will definetly do busness here when I decide to upgrade my stereo.
Now I installed my wifes system yesterday and I have to say that it went together flawlessly no hickups at all. The pre-wire and install instructions from Travis are top notch. If anyone is thinking about getting a system from Travis I say do it, he really cares about the customer.
Thanks Travis

Ca-670 and Ca-530
I've been going round and round with installing two remote starters, but after I spoke with travis I was sold. This man knows his stuff !!! I installed the Ca670 in my 06 f150. Travis prewired it for me (well worth the extra $$). I ran into some issues, but travis was rigth there to answer my calls !! After 1 1/2 hours on the phone we realized the problem was a low car battery! Then came the Ca530. This was going to be installed in my wifes jeep liberty. Travis told me up front that he hasn't done much with the liberty, but he sounded confident. He researched which module I needed for the jeep locking system. He also prewired that unit for me. I had one minor problem with the lock/unlock After talking on the phone with travis a few times we got it figured out. With all that being said buy a unit somewhere else, and see if the person that sold you the unit works with you to straighten it out. Even at 8/9 o'clock pm. Good luck getting them to even answer the phone. This man and his buisness is TOP NOTCH !!!! Buy one somewhere else and consider yourself a fool. Thanks alot Travis !!!!!!

I just bought a CA530 from Travis and installed it yesterday (Friday). I would definitely recommend going with a prewired unit from Travis/KC Autosound. His directions tell you everything from exactly where and what color each wire is (and how to double check them) to where to mount the brain unit. I had to call him a couple times with questions. He answered both times and was able to answer my question within about 15 seconds. He actually called me back a couple hours later just to make sure everything else went ok. If you need the mile range go with the SRT system. I am definitely happy with mine.
